My hair started visibly thinning when I was about 11 or 12. It took me almost 40 years before I wore a hairpiece. It knocked me off my feet, but also made me sad that I had to go that long without it and made me realize what I had lost. Plus I guess people just decided I was that ugly woman with no hair as I've never had anyone to commiserate(?) with..until now. And it feels good. Uplifiting to know I had reason to be so sad and depressed and how unfair it was of relatives saying 'why can't you just be normal' (she says as she swings that thick blond hair on that arrogant head of hers). Boy, that feels good to say that
