- Diagnosed with Alopecia Areata as a young girl. Only had small patches for 2 years and was able to disguise and not worry much. Over the past year it has returned and quite aggressively. Past 4 months the shedding has increased tremendously to total scalp hair loss. Confused how to deal with the new baldness, fear of the unknown,relationship advice, etc.
