Alpecia developed over the past year, after a knee replacement. I spend a fair bit of time with no hair but haven't had much success with wigs; synthetis are too itchy and shiney and human hair too " Pouffy" I've always had a "bob". Are hair systems better??
Let me know how it goes. If you are ever in Vancouver and have time perhaps we can meet. Actually I am trying to get a 'meet and greet' going for sometime in May. There is another lady Christine from AW that wants to do it to. I will keep you posted if you are interested??
Hi Joan. I just read that you were looking for eyeliner. My mom who also as AU got her's tattooed and loves it. I actually found the lady here on Alopecia World - her name is Bruna Pillon and she works at different clinics and salons in Vancouver. Her work is great. I am going to get my eyebrows done by her. I know you are on the Island - if you don't make it to Vancouver perhaps she can recommend someone. Just a thought!!

Hi Joan, did you get the opinion on the dental implant... I had read online that in Europe the implants are ceramic not titanium.
Stopped in to say hello.
Vancouver is my 2nd favourite city after San Francisco.
Hope you are having a good evening.
Jeffrey
How are you today? I have AU, too.
