My hair story....
I started losing my hair at age 26. I had been through a stressful period on my life so doctors called it "Stress Induced Androgenetic Alopecia". I camoflauged my thinning hair for 2 years until it became impossible. I started wearing human hair pieces that were weaved onto my own hair. In one word - OUCH! I then was talked into shaving my head and gluing the pieces on. What a mess that was! So I wore a full human hair wig until my hair was long enough to wear a clip on topper. Then, after the birth of my second child, I found that I didn't have the time to fuss with it so I switched to full synthetic wigs about a year ago. I'm ready in 5 minutes every morning, faster than my husband. Ha! My children are a little older and I have more time so I'm gearing up to purchase a human hair wig just so I can have more options with styling. I'm still not completely comfortable with my hair loss. The wind is my enemy! I don't feel very feminine since I lost my hair. I feel quite ugly actually. I know it's all in my head but how do I get over it???

Thanks for the post on my photo. I've worn the same hairpiece for almost six or seven years now--it's Jessica by Henry Margu. I love it. It's synthetic, but has a mono top and is really flexible when it comes to styling. At this point, I practically wear it straight out of the box. With all my traveling and other activities, I kind of beat on it a bit so need to replace it every 4-6 months, but it's not too expensive. One of these days I definitely want to get one of the vacuum pieces, but probably not until I'm able to better take care of it.
I hope all is well!

I'm starting to think I might have androgenic alopecia as well. I haven't lost enough hair yet to worry except at my temples. I've been covering those with dermmatch depending on my hairstyle. How am I dealing with this? Websites like this one. There are beautiful women here with beautiful wigs. I refuse to let this beat me! Hope you're doing well!!
thanks for the compliment about my hair:-) How did you like living in Munich? I like Munich alot, although it'S a very expensive city. Did you or your husband work there? Where do you live now?
Oh, sorry for all these questions:-)
