Hi, everyone. I just found out I have FFA. Going through all the emotion that you all know about. Looking forward to connecting with this community. Wondering if there is anyone else out there from Denver.

Hi Kathy,
I’m new to the site, and am also in Denver. I was diagnosed with FFA two years ago while I was pregnant and put any kind of treatment on hold until I had my baby and finished breast feeding. When I look back at pictures, I see symptoms started soon after my first child which makes me think there is a hormonal component. I’m now taking duasteride and plaquinil. Seems to have helped cease the redness. Also, someone mentioned CBD oil. Have you tried anything? Who is your doctor? I was seeing Dr. Norris, but recently left.
Hi Kathy, I've reached out to a couple of others locally who seem to be active on here, but no response yet. So far it would be just us, but it's a start, and I'd love to grow a wider circle that includes all the hair loss types. The more the support the better.
