Alopecians in Michigan will celebrate International Alopecia Day (August 6th, 2011) with a late lunch at T.G.I Fridays in Livonia. We will be meeting at 3 PM.

Hi Laura, It is really nice to see you here supporting your children and granddaughter. She is a lucky girl to have so much support. The one things I found with the people that have dealt with it well, is that they have also focused on the childs self-esteem and self-acceptance. Characteristics that stay with her whether she grows her hair back or not. Nice to meet you and feel free to contact me anytime. Cheryl
