About Me:
My child has alopecia, I noticed first bald spot at about age 3 years old. Now she is 8 and has lost 75 percent of her hair. I'm really just seeking knowledge and understanding. My heart breaks at time. But my daughter is strong and I pray for her and other's that are affected with alopecia. Just a small update my dtr is now 12 and in middle school.

To get you and your daughter through the rough patches of dealing with alopecia, it's important to remain positive and surround yourself with positivity as well as other children who have alopecia. I know when I was young,I was completely obsessed with having nice long hair (which I never had). But I've noticed on Alopecia World, many young people have the most amazing attitude towards their alopecia, and it always brings a smile to my face, because I would not have been half as positive about it.
