"An affectionate way of showing how we should say that we are not here to hide the love we have for who we are and are proud to be. Congratulations! You are beautiful in all your faces; in attitude, in self-love and in the splendor of his image."
My name is Divine and I have alopecia. I have been dealing with alopecia for over 26 years. My alopecia is due to hereditary factors, hair glues, hair dyes, weaves, braids etc. Sometimes I want to just be naturally me. I have not developed the courage to allow myself to go outside without my wig or my head wrap. My family and friends does not know the severity of my alopecia only my husband (and I had to gradually introduce him to it). Each day I'm learning how to accept me for who I really am. I love getting to know me while loving/embracing myself and exploring my natural beauty. There are so many phases of my balding experience and I'm ready for it! I'm ready for a new me (the real me) so let the journey begin!
