Hi, my daughter is doing SADBE...it's somewhat the same as DCP. We just started it on her scalp two weeks ago and she had an appointment again on Thursday for the application. To start, they do a test on your daughters arm to sensitize her. If she develops a rash they begin on her head the next visit. They start in small areas on the head, about 1/4 of it at a time. It is itchy, as my daughter has been in all weekend, but she doesn't mind it too much as we are putting on an anti-itch cream the doctor gave her.
If you can, try to look at Cindy and Samantha's page, her daughter has been doing this treatment for two years and it has helped. If you need any other advice or guidance, please let me know. We have tried many things and we hope this works, as it does have a high success rate, but you MUST stick it out.
Does anyone have any experience with DPCP treatment? They want my daughter to start getting this weekly for the next several months...it's considered an experimental treatment in Canada so there isn't alot of information other than what the Doctor said.
