About Me:
I am 35. I lost my hair when I was in my early 20's. I still had eyebrows and eyelashes until about 30. Now there is nothing which is a real pain because without eyelashes stuff gets in my eyes all the time. For a while I got the injections to keep my eyebrows then I lost my health insurance and goodbye eyebrows. I do have insurance again but at this point I have decided to just live with it.
I have a daughter who was born on May 11, 2009. Her name is Chesney Rose DeMars. I am going to school for two A.A.S degrees in Multimedia and Web Design and Graphic Design. I used to be an Electrician. I like movies, music(metal), summer, photography, and want to travel.

Some people are sooo rude and ignorant!

I have had alopecia for 13 years. This weekend I went out with some friends and this "lady" was like "Where is all of your hair?", from across the bar so everyone could hear her. I was really embarrassed because in 13 years I've never had anyone be so blatantly rude. Even the people sitting next to her looked at her like she should shut the !.&@ up.

My cat bit me

I'm sure there is nothing to it but 13 years ago I was bitten by a cat. It was deep and made me feel sick. Within the next year I started to lose my hair. Is there a connection? Probably not but I thought I would mention it.
