I've had AA for a few years now. I shaved my head 9/02/10 and since then I have been patchy, then full head of hair, then patchy again. I understand it will probably be like this for the rest of my life... I've come to terms with that. When I do have hair I color it, give myself a fohawk, whatever I think to do at the time. but WHY is it that when I have a FULL head of hair growing great like this...…

It's been a while since I posted on here, and I felt its about time I do. Since September I have been in and out of hospitals, different specialist, and I think my PCP and I see each other more than I see my best friend. LLLOOONNNGGG story short, I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (OUCH!), POTS, and a severe case of restless body syndrome. I am currently on Short Term Disability, have been since January, with currently no sign of me going back to work any time soon. Because of the POTS…

Tamara, your AA looks like my daughter's. Hair, patches and then loss and then growth. I will have her tested for Krohn's, it runs in our family. She is only 8.
