Just wanted to let you know that we are having a support group meeting this coming Sat Nov 21st at 11:00 am St. Thomas Hospital in Akron. We are meeting in Meeting Rm A, near the cafeteria. Our Medical Advisor will be speaking and I also have someone coming from Wigs on Wheels. Hope you can come. CIndy

Hi there - I have AU too and live in New Zealand. I know what you mean about the cruise - it is summer here and I have just spend Christmas at the beach and certainly got a few stares when I was going swimming with a bald head. There was no way that I was going to wear my expensive wigs in the surf though. I just smile and continued on my way. Welcome. Kath

Our support group meets every other month, the 3rd Sat. The next meeting will be Sat. Jan 17th at 11:00 am. We meet at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron, Ohio in Meeting Rm C it's next to the cafeteria. If you'd like to meet for a coke sometime in December, maybe we could meet up before Jan. Let me know if you need directions to St. Thomas, it's easy to get to. Take Care, Cindy
