Hi Tyffanie,
I understand how hard it can be. I've had alopecia for years and years.
I wrote a book for women to help them cope with this. It's called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" If it can help just one woman or girl, I will be happy. If you're interested, go to my page and click my web site. You can find out more about the book and order it online too if you want.
Take care of yourself. It will be better, I promise.

It really does get better... Got Alopecia when I was 27, and I'm still here leading a great life and getting married in 2 months. People who love you for YOU wont care if you have hair or not. Go out there and live life.
Girl, Im there. Growing up I had enough hair for three people. Some days I dont want to leave my room, much less the house. But from what everyone says on here it gets easier. We need to hang in there and believe them!
Hey Tyffanie...I was 26 years old when I lost my hair. Like you, it completely sucked for me. All I can say is that it does get easier. Trust in your family and friends....they will love you no matter what and help you realize that truthfuly, it really doesn't matter in the big scheme of things. Your pic looks gorgeous and I'm not just saying that. Keep on the website, too -- it can be inspiring. Good luck!
Hey Tyffanie!
Hang in there dude! I promise it will get better. Never easy...but it will definitely be manageable. Just embrace life and do the things that make you happy. You'll make it through. And plus, you are beautiful no matter what! LOok at you! Gee whiz.
