- I have had alopecia for about 8 years and have learned to live it. It started out as alopecia areata then progressed to alopecia universalis. I have learned to live with it.
Update 2022. I now have had Alopecia Areata for maybe 8 years now. Approximately 95% bald and light eyebrows.
