I have been blessed to be the older sister of an amazing woman. She is my sister and my best friend. My baby sister was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata approx. nine years ago. She went through treatment but due to the side effects decided to stop. Her Alopecia has progressed to Universalis. But Alopecia doesn't stop or slow her down. She is a dancer and choreographer and will graduate from CSUN summer of '09.
Hi Veronica,
You are wonderful to be so supportive of your sister!
I have universalis too, and interestingly (because your sis is a dancer), I wrote a book called "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" You can get it by clicking the link on my page or on Amazon.com. She might like it!
I hope you are having a great day...
