I'm currently 16, yeah I'm a teenager that's what makes this worse. I struggle constantly with everything going on in my life and I blame it on alopecia. I wonder and ask God everyday why me? Why put more stress on me other than a normal person. I wish people wouldn't judge me or look at me different. I want my hair back, I would feel so normal and happy. Autumn my heart goes out to you. My daughter developed AA at 13. A year of treatments made no difference, so I started looking at her diet. She started on the GAPS diet in Sept 2013 and within a few weeks her hair started to grow back and to this day hasn't fallen out again. I'm not saying it will work for everyone, but she is sooooo pleased we gave it a try and stuck with it. Good luck to you
