- I have had alopecia since I was in High School I am now 37. The doctors said it is from genetics and many surgeries on my ears. I have been wearing wigs now since 2014. Prior to that I did hair club which is very expensive and very damaging to my scalp and what hair I had. Then I did sew ins which didn't help. Then I tried Nicotin which I had hair regrowing which was nice,but still not all the way. So I now do wigs, and my own hair is growing a little but not much. So I am looking for help and it is nice to have a site like this that there are others who suffer like me.
