*sigh* I've been gluten-free since March. My last episode of hair loss was around Easter. However, about 2 weeks ago I discovered another patch...the size of a dime on the back of my head. That being said, I have had hair growth from the old patches but it took kenalog injections and squaric acid to do it. Honestly, I was hoping that going gluten-free would help control the hair loss....but it may be too soon to really know. It seems that I get new patches every six months...crazy but, true. I'm also autoimmune thyroid and anemic and I think being gluten-free and dairy-free has helped that out a lot.

thanks for the invite!
If you need extra support and some good info (and a few laffs), you might want to get my book, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" I wrote it for women with alopecia. Maybe you have it already? Anyway, you can find out more on my page. You can get it on Amazon.com.
Hugs!
Welcome to Alopecia World.
