- age 68 and have not yet been diagnosed with frontal fibrosing alopecia but 90 percent sure that will be the diagnosis and looking for treatment and ways of dealing with it. I've had this condition for several years and other doctors had no idea what it was and offered no treatments or medications so this has been progressing for maybe about 4 years. Finally a new dermatologist identified it in the first few minutes after he saw me. How I wish I'd met him years ago!
