I was diagnosed with alopecia areata about seven years ago. As years go by, my hair loss fluctuates. I have gone from partial hair loss to completely bald and back to partial re-growth again. After countless visits to doctors, homeopathic specialists and even a reiki specialist, I am trying to accept my condition as part of my life, without a solution. But the cyclical process of hair loss to hair re-growth has left me in a state of flux, which is very hard to come to terms with.
Hi Rafiva, you photo album is great. I've had alopecia for tons of years and in the last 4 months have just started meeting people who had alopecia. I thought I was the only one and that left me at times feeling miserable. There are great people here on Alopecia World and so glad I found it. Hopefully soon we can meet in person.
Welcome to Alopecia World, Rafiya! You look beautiful in the wigs, but I love your bald photo, too...it really brings out your eyes. All the best, Mary
