i am 38 years old male and a computer eng'r who became a religious brother for 12 years. left religious life 2007 and got married 2008.
had my 1st alopecia patch 2003. then every year i got 1 in different places. 2007 i had a big patch and 5 other patches. after 6 months, i decided to shave my head. very difficult to cope with this unpredictable skin disease. its a daily struggle. up and down. indeed, acceptance is the key! no turning back but only focussed on the blessings of the present moment and hopeful for a bright tomorrow.
hope to meet new and many friends in this website from the phil and all over the globe. having this alopecia areata, i need support, encouragement, acceptance and inspiration. thank you very much! god bless us all!
