I am a college student pursuing an honors degree in english literature. I first discovered alopecia at the age of ten and since then my problem just increased. In 2012 I lost 85% of my hair and then got fake hair in 2013. But since the past few months my bald patches have recovered somewhat and I dream of enjoying my life sans any form of fakeness.
alopecia gave me a chance to be different. Its not easy being in a society where shiny lustrous hair is seen heavenly. I am still trying to come in terms with this disease and not lose myself in it.
