- I was diagnosed with Alopecia areata over 3 years ago and was one of my toughest moments. I believe it was triggered from stress which only stressed me out more. Patches were so bad to the point I shaved my whole head and was preparing myself for the worst.
Since then I have grew back all my hair with no loss in 2 years until 2 months ago. I currently have 3 small patches in the back but this time I have whole new mindset! I will fight this and continue to be positive knowing this will not define me.
At this point now I should be at the same stage of the first time of needing to shave my head. I have been able to maintain the outbreak and now have hair growing back with out going to the Dr for steroid shots.
Wellness is so very much apart of my life now and having the right nutrition in my body I believe has helped battle this disease.I have been taking a ultra-premium daily antioxidant supplement in liquid form that helps with inflammation. I also put the supplement in the affected areas which have improved greatly.
I know that first feeling of fear with patches of hair falling out and self diagnosing online. I truly was becoming depressed and decided I had enough. Sharing this with others who could benefit is now my purpose as I know what you're going through. Lets fight this together and not be defined by our disease!
