Aloe Vera

So, I tried applying aloe vera gel on my scalp last night, and guess what...it doesn't hurt anymore. Usually, I have a lot of tenderness in my crown, since that's where the area that the alopecia seems to be targeting right now...I've been hearing a lot of good things about aloe vera, so I decided to give it a try. I heard that it decreases the inflammation of the scalp, and soothes it. So far, so good. I'm going to get the actual plant to have 100% natural aloe...wish me luck. I haven't…

My new wig is fabulous! :)

Well, I must say that I'm loving my new wig. My cousin went with me to pick one out at the beauty supply. I'm not really a "bangs" type of girl, but she asked me to try one on with auburn highlights and a "swoop" bang. I actually loved it! The nice thing about wearing wigs is that you don't have to worry about styling your hair...you just go with the flow...what sucks is what is underneath...I've been battling alopecia for the past 4 years.
