So, I tried applying aloe vera gel on my scalp last night, and guess what...it doesn't hurt anymore. Usually, I have a lot of tenderness in my crown, since that's where the area that the alopecia seems to be targeting right now...I've been hearing a lot of good things about aloe vera, so I decided to give it a try. I heard that it decreases the inflammation of the scalp, and soothes it. So far, so good. I'm going to get the actual plant to have 100% natural aloe...wish me luck. I haven't gotten the nerve to comb my crown out yet...Kinda nervous about that, but one step at a time right??? Right!

You also might try the line of Cetaphil products. They are great for sensitive skin, and you can find it in most stores. I have eczema, and I use it for that. The cream is the best!
