I have only had alopecia for around a year, but I went from having just a very small bald patch to losing 90% of my hair. I feel that it does not get enough attention in the medical world because every doctor I have gone to has told me (It could be caused by stress, it could be hereditary, it could be caused by this, it could be caused by that, it could be cured by this, it could be cured by that, etc. ......) I am so thankful that my hair loss is not caused because of treatment for cancer…
