Where I get my hair

I have had many people ask me about my hair so again I thought I’d post a quick blog about my hair and where I get it…First off thank you for all the wonderful compliments . I got my hair from Madeline's Hair Replacement in Maine where I am from. The lighter hair is a custom piece I had done about two and a half years ago. One of the owners, Ken took a plaster mold of my head and then had a hair prosthetic custom made to match my scalp....it fits great! It is completely secure, I never worry… Continue

My false lashes...how I do it

I have had a few people ask me about my eyelashes....I am never embarassed to say they are not mine own....and always willing to give other advice on how to wear them! Let me know if you have additional questions but here is how I do it:



I use a product called fashion lashes from Ardell….I use the demi 120 they are full and dark but not to costumey. I would recommend starting to use the lashes (if possible) when you still have a few lashes so that you get the hang of where to put… Continue

My Tattoo Experience

Hi Everyone!



I have had many people ask how my tattoo procedure went so I just wanted to post a quick blog to let everyone know how it went! My tattoo experience was great!!!! Jeffery Segal, who did the tattoos was absolutely wonderful! He is so talented! There was very little pain involved because he uses Novocain to numb the area. I am getting my eyebrows and Lashline Tattooed :)

I am so excited!!! I am going to New York this Monday March 24,2008 to get my eyebrows and lashline tattooed on!! I have been living with Alopecia Universalis for 3 years and I am tired of penciling on my eyebrows and lashline every morning. This is going to be such a huge lifestyle change for me!! A quick overview of my early experience with alopecia

My name is Nicole and I have been living with alopecia since 2005. It started falling out in the Spring of ‘05 and by December of ‘05 I was completely bald and all my eyelashes and eyebrows had fallen out. I was devastated.
