A big snuggly thank you goes to our friends at Locks of Love for making Jordyn's xmas a little more special this year..I got the call today from Rhonda at LOL and Jordyn's real hair suction cup wig is all finished..I told her tonight and she was sooooo excited..now to tell her it will be here before xmas...should I..She has been waiting for this since we sent off the mold...Im so happy that this makes my little girl so happy to have flowing locks..now to see if she wears it..lol!!

Well I'm happy to say that Jordyn has a Alopecia World page now..so add her as your friend. She is on here also looking for girls her age that she can relate too. We are happy to say she is soo excited and cannot wait for the arrival of her LOL wig. We are also looking for girls or boys in our area that have alopecia. This seems to be a difficult feat. I have yet to find anyone close to our area. I work at the hospital here and I met a mom not too long ago, she brought her son in for labwork…

We watched the locks of love HBO film that they have out now..It is on demand. It was such a wonderful film and it gave Jordyn the chance to see that there are other girls and women out there with the same disease as her. It also gave her a better appreciation for what goes into the making of the wig she is about to get.

Well and update on Jordyn..we made the plaster mold of her head to send off to Rhonda at Locks of Love..She received her plastic mold to fit on her yesterday..she was so excited..now to send it off. And let the wig making begin..I can't tell you how excited Jordyn is that she has the opportunity to have this wig from the locks of love..It is a fabulous organization..Jordyn has very high self esteem anyways and really doesnt let much bother her this just makes it a little better.
