My wonderful teenage daughter is at it again. As we look for new a different style wigs to get, especially with the fall weather approaching, she has her sights set on a jet black long haired wig with red streaks in it. Just when I thought she has outgrown the 'goth' look she throughs me a curve ball. All but one of her wigs is some shade of blonde; the one that is not is hot pink with black roots. I guess I can't say much about the pink since at that time my own hair was pink. She just doen't understand that the jet black really makes her look washed out with her fair complection. I know it's not going to get any easier either. AAARRRRGGGG!!!!!!

Heather, your daughter will look great with black hair, she looks cute with pink hair, I wish I had the nerve when I was here age to wear pink hair. Teenage girls...whew...I had to go through it four times and each time it was a unique experience, no goth though. I think God gives us girls to strengthen our survival skills, lol!

There are also some cool clip in hair, that I am pretty sure you can add to a wig. That way maybe she can pick one color and fool around with the extensions. I actually think it is really cool that she is willing to play around with it. Not everyone is able to just go with it.

. I found these here.

She's a teenager! Let her do it as long as no harm comes from it. If you really are against getting her this wig, grab a digital camera and take a picture of her in it (as well as a few others) so she can compare them all at once and see what you see perhaps. Again though, it's just for a while and teens are struggling hard enough trying to fit in as is without the extra problems. My mom never let me get a wig that I wanted and it really affected my trying to look like a normal kid.
