Everyone in my family wants to know what i can POSSIBLY be so stressed about. I'm 21, with a good job, going to school and living at home. I'll agree, right now, my life is pretty low stress, and I'm thankful for it. BUT... I have moments where I'm absolutely ready to tear my non-existant hair out.

My sister is 15. She's a sweet girl, and someone I would do anything for, but we are also polar opposites. We are 6 years apart in age, and completely different people. She's very into her looks and fashion and what's "in". For me, if it's comfy, it's good. (Hence the reason I don't wear wigs on a daily basis.) Anyway... I've always been the "driven student" type, and she's more of the mindset that school is for socialiaztion first, and work second. She has a really bad habit of procrastinating on her work and having someone else bail her out.

Tonight, I got home from working a 9 hour shift after a really long day of classes yesterday, and I was exhausted and looking forward to watching CSI and having some cookies. I walked in the door to be greeted by my mom asking me to help my sister with a school assignment. I was supposed to proof-read her essay. Well... that would have been easy enough had she actually finished WRITING the stupid thing!!!!! SERIOUSLY! So not only did I write half of it, I proofed it. When I told her that she needs to work on her sentence structure to get rid of run-ons, she acted like it was the end of the world. Everything I tried to fix, she insisted that the teacher wanted it that way. I was so frustrated.

This is a regular occurance, it happens at least twice a week. It makes me SO stressed because she puts things off and then expects me to do them for her! It makes me crazy when I expect to go home and watch some TV and sleep, and instead I spend 2 hours doing a 10th grade English assignment.

No wonder I get stressed!

Thanks ladies!

Bogie, I'm hoping to move out in the next 6 months or so, but there are still a few things I need to secure financially before that can happen. (Specifically a car).

Yea... After last night, I kinda put my foot down and said that she's going to start doing her own work. The problem we run into is that I end up helping her alot of the time simply to reduce stress on my mom. It's not an ideal situation.
