I got a new and first wig and wore it for the first day in public and at church. Most people didn't say anything but kind of looked at me a little differently. A lady at my church made the comment "you're wearing a wig" after someone asked who did my hair. I about broke down at church. I then explained to them that my hair had been falling out since my 3rd heart surgery and I had lost alot of it this week. I am not sure if I will be able to make it back to my church again. This profile pic is of my new wig. Does it look too thick? The bottom pic is of my hair naturally. I did flat iron my wig and have been pushing it flat so it didn't look too thick.

No, the wig doesn't look thick. Isn't that a funny feeling. People don't understand how weird it is to go from thin hair to all that bulk. I think they should make starter wigs and a person could buy thicker ones as time went on. Anyway... you look great! I love the wig! You are very pretty anyway so better hair is icing on the cake!

i also think the wig looks great! perhaps the person had turretts syndrome or some other disability that prevented her from being considerate when she opened her mouth? poor woman.... how difficult it must be to be so rude and stupid. ;)

i think that it is more likely that people were reacting to seeing you with such great hair after getting used to seeing you with thinning/normal hair before that. the wig does not look too thick in my opinion.
