I'm new to this. Is anyone from the greater Seattle, Washington area?
Don't belive I did.....
So my naturopath might be on to something! I was diagnosed with Lichen Planopaliris in February of this year. She put me on LDN and LDI which has stopped the unnatural hair shed. In 10/2016 I had a near fatal surgery (botched) 4 months after I began losing large amounts of hair....early 2017 I went to have my stem cells injected into scalp in Tacoma, Wa. I knew that something was wrong...not female pattern baldness so I didn't return. The doc there is a good one and knows what he's doing but I had to dig deeper. I waited way too long to get a biopsy otherwise my naturopath could have saved 1/2 more hair....anyway, she had me tested for candida and to my surprise I tested positive...check out the connection between Hypothyroidism, Candida and scarring alopecia. I have 5 scalp/hair loss dermatologists following my naturopath. I guess you could say I am a case study. I've been asked to take part in a clinical trial but refused as I am very healthy in every other way and don't want a drug possibly distroying my health....I just wanted to give an update for anyone who is interested. The protocol my Dr. Lang has me on has NO side effects! Stay well, Bonnie
Hi Bonnie, I'm in Abbotsford, BC, not too far from you. :) I've got AA which seems to becoming AU and desperate for answers! Could you please share the protocol Dr. Lang has you on? I don't know what LDN and LDI is. Thanks! Deb
