The Great British Body has Alopecia!

Thank you for all your lovely comments about the show and I do hope that everyone will get an opportunity to see it at some point. The wonderful thing is that I was selected as The Great British Body!! A naked human sculpture on the Sussex Downs was in the shape of my body and when I took my wig off - everyone who represented my hair stood up and walked off!! How cool is that!
Anyway, it's a huge boost for anyone who experiences hair loss and a big thumbs up for all us girls out there who are not a size zero and have all the bumps and are proud of them!!
I take my wig off to you all!!!

I've been fortunate enough to be selected as a 'feature' person on a new UK TV show which goes out over 3 nights on ITV1on 2nd, 3rd and 4th June 2008.
It's a huge, positive boost for anyone out there with alopecia.
You know what? Sometimes bad things happen, and sometimes we can turn those bad things into good things!! Here's to us all!! Michelle x

Way to go Michelle! I really wish I could see it. It's so nice to see people out there trying to spread awareness. I know I'm usually quite impressed when someone actually knows what alopecia is. Keep up the good work! :)
