PLEASE PRAY FOR KRISTIN!!!!!
Hello friends,
I am writing to ask that you all take a miinute to send up a quick prayer for my daughter Kristin. Yesterday at 3:15 p.m. she was in a severe car accident. Her car went off the road, over an embankment, went airborne and hit 2 trees before it came to rest in a pile of trees. She was ejected from the car at some point and landed 20+/- feet from the point of impact. She has many injuries including 2 collapsed lungs, 6 broken ribs, a broken collar bone, bruised kidney, and a cracked vertebrae in her lower back. Thank God that none of these are life threatening and it's a miracle that she doesn't have a head injury. They removed her spleen because it was bleeding, but she can live without a spleen. She is on a ventilator to breathe and they don't expect to be able to wake her up for another 24 hours. She needs to be heavily sedated to keep her still in order for her to start breathing on her own and to let her lungs have a chance to inflate. I appreciate any and all prayers and healing vibes sent her way. The power of prayer is extremely powerful so I know that they will be heard. She is a very, very strong young woman, and though it will be a long healing process, she will be fine.

Kristin got her 71 staples taken out of her stomach today. She said it "burned" while they were coming out. She still has a lot of pain in her shoulder (due to the broken collarbone) , and her upper back is achey due to the broken ribs, but other than that, she's coming along and getting stronger every day. She will be out of work for about 6 weeks and she's already going stir crazy. She told her friend today it was nice to get out of the house even though it was to go to the Doctor's office...LOL. Kristin asked me to thank each and every one of you for your kind words and thoughts and prayers. She's a lucky girl!!!! Thank you all again.
