Dating Whilst Bald part one ....
Well i have to say ive had some shocking experiences over the last few weeks whilst dating and i feel its only fair that i share them with you.
Well two weeks ago i went to a alopecia uk meeting at a local pub and met a man who was there with his friend and noticed that we were a group for hairloss so he came over and we began chatting (he had alopecia totalis), and i gave him my number and we agreed to speak later.
Over the next week e chatted on the phone for hours and agreed to meet up in the same pub on the friday night.
Well as i arrived at the pub i gave him a call to see where he was and he said he will come out to me.
As we were walking back towards the pub, Adam stopped and said that he has his mom and dad, brother and seven mates in the pub as they are dying to see what i look like, as they havent seen a bald girl and they really want a look at me.
So i said to Adam im not a freak show and if you think im coming into that pub so everyman and his dog can stare at me your very much mistaken.
With that i got back into my car and went off to meet friends in another pub.
When i told my mates about this they were disgusted but unfortunately that is a majority of society they dont realise beauty is skin deep and its whats inside that counts......................................................................

You did the right thing. That was totally out of line for him to put you on the spot like that, and on a first date!! CRAZY! He so missed out on a good thing. HA!

I don't understand how he could be so crude when he has alopecia totalis himself...what was he thinking to invite the whole neighborhood to the pub to meet you and you two just met? Good for you to stand up for your respect and dignity. He was being a big jerk!

Although if it were me, alopecian or not, he would have gotten some choice words in a couple of languages too -- you handled the situation with much class and dignity, and I'm SO glad you stood up for yourself like that. Who in the hell did he think he was?
And since he was obviously into it for the exhibitionist aspect of it (like you were some show and tell project), did he REALLY have AT, or was that a front too? In other words, how did you know that he wasn't just some guy that went bald as a result of MPB rather than AT? Red flag, red flag, red flag!!!!
Please let us know how any other dates go!!!!
