Mandy, I'm so proud of you!!! There is nothing like the weight lifted when you cut your hair off for the first time -- to me, it's what it represents -- that I have control of my alopecia and alopecia not having control of me -- that means the most. I'm glad you made it an event with your friends and you had a good time doing it!!! I do like your wig; it looks very natural and complements your skin very well. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!!!

When I shave my head, I felt that the alopecia no longer had control of me, but I had taken control of the unpredictable disease. waht a great feeling.
