School is going good though...and...as you can see...so is my hair! I have a few areas that stayed white (no pigment), but grew back nonetheless. Hi friends!! What an unbelievably busy month it has been! I'm sorry I haven't been on and active as much as usual! It makes me sad and I miss you guys!! Ok time for your HONEST opinions. I've never had short hair in my life. What better time to try than now that I can have any hair I want! I'm thinking about this wig below. So since I'm moving out of state, I've been calling everyone and making plans to see people before I go. So I just called the mother of a girl I used to babysit for since she was an infant. My boss took a vacation day yesterday, which was nice because it gave me another day to not think about having to quit. But he's back today. I was planning to give my notice tomorrow, but now that he's here I just don't think I can wait. It feels too awful keeping it from him. As much as I hate my job, he's a good guy. So I was sitting around watching tv last night and I ran my hand over my head (I love the way it feels shaved!) and realized the bald spots didn't feel so bald... Just an update:
So I only wore my wig to work for a week. It was long enough for me to feel uncomfortable. While the new wig made me feel very pretty, I just couldn't stand the feeling of wearing it all day long! I'm away from home for 11 hours a day including my commute and by the end of the day it was just so dang hot and uncomfortable! So I've been wearing bandanas to work now. It's only been 3 days of wearing a wig to work and I'm already sick of it! LOL. I mean...I like it and it makes me feel pretty...but geesh! It's one thing to wear it for a couple hours out to the bar or out with friends...it's quite another to wear it around allllll day at work! 11 hours is a long time! Well it's done! And I'm 100% confident that I made the right choice. I feel like 20 lbs lighter!!! LOL. It's just so hard to describe but I feel soooo good! I've left the fringe in front like I said I would. Not gonna lie...I'll probably end up shaving that too real soon cuz I just feel so comfortable shaved. Wow...what a difference a bit of synthetic hair can do! I feel pretty again! Let me know what you think. The color matches my hair so close that seeing the 2 together, I couldn't tell where my hair started and the wig began. I know we all have good days and bad days. Well this is one of my first real bad days. I've been able to stay very positive through this process but I think that was just because I could still hide by pulling my hair into a ponytail. Well so I had my 2nd dermatologist appointment today. It was kinda depressing. The doctor was upset the spots had spread as much as they had in only 3 weeks.
