Hi - it's really amazing to meet so many people on line - I agree this is a great forum for coping with this strange condition! I always say to fellow alopecians there is no right or wrong way to cope with this condition - wig or not do whatever makes you feel great!
It is great to meet you and I hope we'll keep in touch!

I love your wig gorgeous colour!!!
I agree this is a great site and full of positive people, ive been on a few sites dealing with this and a lot of people feel soory for themselves which is by no means wrong at all!!! but im one of these people who may have a bit of a joke about it and when you are down the last thing you want to hear is some english girl crackin jokes about giving her head a polish and drawing eyebrows on whilst in the middle of a dance floor in a rave club (i was sweaty and they had come off)
I dont go out without my wig but thats not because im embarressed its just personal preference and i also have a bit of a funny shaped head lol,
Anyway hope you dont mind if i add you as a friend
Hope to speak soon and also to anyone else. I can be a joker but im also a very good listerner and would like to help or try to help people who are in the same situation as myself I can be serious and understand it is a serious condition but hey there is nothing wrong with being lighthearted about it, laughter is the best medicine

"Comfort zone"....that's what its all about. I never seem comfortable about going with nothing on
my head this time of year. I was at my X's house for dinner sunday, she asked if I was going to wear
my hat the whole time. I took my hat off but ended up with a headache and a head cold. No more dinners
at her house till spring.
