A little depression
Had a bout with a little depression yesterday. Didn't sleep well, got my hair cut short to fit better under my wigs. I liked (like) the cut but really wished that I could just have my own hair! By the end of the day though I was feeling better. My daughter and her partner are visiting for a whole week and we will have fun!

Hey Anne! Yeah, I hear you. I think those feelings roll over us all from time to time. Sounds like you handled it well though. You acknowledged the feelings, identified why you were feeling that way, and then released them. To me that's always the best way. We mustn't suppress our feelings and let things fester.

Thanks Angie! Had a great day, wore my hair to the Tucson festival of books. Got to chat with my favorite fantasy writer while he signed my book! A young girl complemented me on my "hair cut" hee, hee!

Anne, you appear to have handle the situation well. Like Angie said, acknowledging what you are feeling as normal and not getting angry with yourself for feeling those feelings and then letting them pass. Sometimes we are too hard on ourselves, I believe you have to let yourself have those moments of release but not dwell on them. Im happy to hear you had such a wonderful time at the book festival and got to meet your favourite writer.
