I went to therapy today and was given a goal, not a specific one but any goal and I was to TO DO IT!!! So i was thinking what could I do , then I thought hmmmm,,,,,,,,my therapy was over at 2:30 and I usually wait around til 5ish for my hubby to pick me up because of my anxiety and thoughts of others staring at me and i thought today I DON'T CARE who stares at me who looks at my wig (whether or not they could even tell) and I walked home it took me an hour to get home so I achieved my goal and I am very proud of myself :) it felt really good to be happy for once but not sure I'll do it again for a while,,LOL

It will get easier, you just have to believe in urself, walk with ur head up and shoulders back. I've only been wearing my wig for 6 months and when people stare at me know Im just wondering if there staring at me cause Im pretty or they know its a wig, lol, or my tattooed eye brows lol. And my hubby yells at me its because ur beautiful lol. So anymore chin up and smile ur beautiful u need to believe that xoxo

Good for You !!

Remember Lisa - Alot of the times when a person may feel people are staring at them is because they put out an uncomfortable vibe and body language stature. This would make anyone stare !

I like to use the old trick of :
Try to picture in your mind , that the people who are staring at you are completly naked !!!
By the time the queeziness wears off - they will be behind you rather than in your face :)

I know what you mean, it's a bit scary, but in the end it pays off because we feel great.
I'm so happy for you.
