Oversensitive?

I'm confused and have an upset stomach

I have a picture of myself on facebook bald as it is the real me of course, I went out on a night out of town and decided to wear my long laced front brown wig,my friend took a photo of me and I thought it was quite pretty so I changed my profile picture to myself and my brown hair, i"ve had many inboxes telling me they think i look prettier with the real me. DRY ENDS on synthetic or human wigs I FOUND THE SOLUTION!

I've had a lace top wig now for about 2 weeks, I noticed the more you comb it the dryer it gets no matter what type of hair you have ,the ens become quite dry and visible last night i finally found something amazing and works really well its calle" CHI silk infusion"

This morning i got up sprayed the bottom of my hair till dripping wet and poured about a loonie size amount of "CHI" rubbed in my hands then all over the bottom of my wig, when dry it looked brand spankin new ans smells…

Lashes oh lashes!

I was so happy about i'd say a month ago when i noticed fuzzies growing in. It grew in so nicely i actually had hair on my head i just looked like i had a buzz cut next thing you know 2 weeks later i wake up to a patch thinking oh lord please not again. Need some advice plz

As usual I wear many wigs due to many patches and having to keep shaving my head.
My question is this: I am a smoker the only one in my home while i am wearing a wig, does anyone know if its safe to put the wig outside to air out to keep the smoke odour out?

Any suggestions would be great ty:)

Mother Nature

As a young girl, I was robbed of a good childhood, as a young adult I was robbed of being a young adult having to fend for myself with bills, rent,job etc,then mother nature gave me this wonderful man who is now my husband, whom I adore, 3 beautiful children.

EYELASHES

Hi Everyone,
I've recently noticed that my eye lashes are getting thinner by the minute, therefore I went out and bout human hair lashes, I've tried to put them on to see what they'd look like and they are mmm,,,,too long!!!

Feeling beautiful :))

Today I was amazed when I went to my psychologist for the first time and we spoke and I told her of my alopecia, it was sooo nice that she knew what it was and she just looked at me and said, why are you covering your beauty? Weight gain?? and Wigs

Ok so i've gained an extra 40 lbs i'm not complaining of my weight is I love seefood= I see food I eat !!
But my problem now is finding the right wig to go with my face.
I have the short one and I dislike it as it makes me look too pudgy, I have the curly one and I still look pudgy anyone have any ideas how I should go about what looks good and what doesn't?

Hair & heat

I'm starting to find myself very down lately, I can't even wear a hair peice in my own home I get sooo damn hot, evn with a scarf so I have to walk around bald and i'm getting sick of it, just tired of looking at myself everyday being bald, every now and then its ok but omg everydayyyy???? this heat is a bitch and it's making me feel very glum:(

My first experience!

Today here in Ontario it is very hot out! I haven't been wearing a wig for the last week at home just walking around my home and yard with my smooth baldie head :)

This afternoon I realized I had to go to the store and couldn't wait for my husband to get home so I had to go no matter what.

Pampering & disaster

So this morning I decided it was time for me to not isolate myself which is what I been doing lately, and I decided it's time for a little pampering.
Went out got my nails done,timmies, shopping and bought a brow pencil to color in some brows and OMG what a disaster i made. I hate it and I have no clue how to color them in. I got the right color ( dark blond) as I normally like my blond wigs.
God sure didn't make things easy when he took away my hairs and brows :(

Loss of brows

For a while now I had thinning brows and knew eventually they would be gone, except yesterday I woke up and had no brows, I cried alot over it, I felt like an alien with no hair, no brows, my lashes are very very thin, I was so upset over this and never told my hubby and the funny thing was he and no one else in my household noticed anything!! Sleeping in Wigs

Just out of curiosity I have a question,,,
Has anyone ever slept in their wigs using a silky net?
If so does that ruin the wig??
would love anyone's input on this please as I bought a silk net and the woman at the store told me I could sleep in my wig as long as I had the net on but they will say anything to sell something to you!

Shaving head!!

well i've decided to buy me a very good razor and some shaving cream to get rid of the stubs today, am tired of the itching under the wig and am going to my inlaws today with a wig on , I know i'll be itching like crazy, maybe I should tell them I have head lice or something so we could leave faster,,,lmao
But I am lookng forward to getting my head smooth instead of living with stubs, it's either hair or NO HAIR right?

My bald head

I can't tell you how nice it feels to have a long day in the heat with a head full of hair ( wig) and come home to take it off!!
I sure do appreciate that while others have no way of doing that with their own hair and feel the nice breeze on a sexy bald head!!!
God Bless all of us who are bald we don't realize the pros about it very often but I just realized that pro today!! and let me tell you,,,, it feels damn nice!!

Need advice on a stubby head please!

I had mentioned before I have a stubby head except for the sides of my head , the stubs have been that way for a year now, doctors say its as good as its gonna get, and I still don't understand why that is, even though I know it is caused by my white cell count, but here's the thing, I'm always itchy leaving my head scabby whenever I wear wigs with a cap under it.

Stop procrastinating!

This is something i've learned to do over the course of my therapy!!
I now walk around bald in front of my whole family, everyday unless I go out of course, i'm not ready for that just yet, but I am very comfy around my family and no longer ashamed to be bald around my family and it feels great, especially when the fresh air hits your nice baldy head :)

Crisis survival kit

Over the course of the week we were given an assignment to make a crisis servival kit.

So when your down over alopecia or whatever challenges you may face in your life, there is a box that I have now made for myself with different quotes on it, some music, some photos, etc,,,and you look at that as a distraction to help keep your mind distracted of wat is bothering you, and I found it amazing so far it is working for me.
