thank you all appreciate all your support.......

no Norm stayed in alone over christmas and new year, could not stick anything on my head long enough to go out apart from a quickie in tesco!!!!

need to get myself together as you say, a free trip to a Hilton hotel is too good to miss, funny it is a reward for helping people on a security forum........
have felt sick last 2 days worrying about facing the guy tomorrow who is partly responsible for this...and i just may take some scissors with me lol thanks for the idea ;)

will check in tomorrow and let you know the outcome...

and to Mary, thank you for the scarves video, you made it look so easy..can it be done with a normal satin headscarf? and if so would it slide off?

Glad you liked the scarf video...I made that about 8 months after I lost my hair. Unfortunately, with a completely slick scalp, I've found silk or satin scarves too slippery for me. It's not that they don't stay on...but they're just not as stable as the thin cotton of the Turkish scarves I wear. Give it a try with whatever scarves you have - you might like them fine. The only thing is that they can't be too large. About 33" square is the max for me. Let me know how you like it.

This is the main way I tie scarves. I like wrapping them around the top of my head to tie because I want the added fullness. There are photos and maybe other discussions on AW about scarves. Good luck!

As soon as I shaved my head the battle was over, trying to cover up what little hair was left was a battle everyday. Going bald has some challenges, people do stare, just stare right back and enjoy that vacations. I have lots of funky hats for the cold weather, fur for our minus 30 temps!

thank you all for all the advice taken it on board, discovered what a buff is, have 2 but the version i have is called a bandarf and is really handy at home.....and may need then in summer IF WE GET ANY lol

well i think i have a little good news, went to the meeting with my bosses today, the one said he did not remember the things i complained about and basically he lied......but me being the old mefor the first time in 4 months...
ripped off turban in true theatrical style to show him how bad it was .......thought he was going to faint lol

felt so much better after that..... so i am going back to work next week on my terms, the hours i want and no damn driving (phew) so we agreed to get on, but still have the option to take it further if needed......

apologised for scratching and told him to be careful as the fleas have nowhere to live on me anymore and they need a new home ..that really broke the ice lol, he even offered me a lift home.......
