(I have been taking Hindi classes! Sorry if I misspelled your name!) I dealt with varying degrees of alopecia for 9 years until my hair finally all fell out in 2009. I tried every treatment available out there (injections, creams, prendisone pills), but nothing helped my hair grow back. I eventually realized that my depression and anxiety related to my alopecia were taking over my life, so I decided to get a wig and take control of my life back! I have now been completely bald for over 2 years, and I'm the happiest I've ever been. Losing your hair is not an easy journey, but it is one that has given me strength and made me a more confident person.

i know there s no cure but ive had ups and downs with alopecia basically my whole life. ive been doing the steriod shots for years and they thankfully have always regrown hair that now i have a few small spots that are completely unnoticeable. i know the steriod shots hurt but ask for lidocaine and put it on a few hours before injection and it numbs the pain

Hi Dee, Glad to know that steroid shots helped you.. I've had 2 shots till nw.. another one due this week.. already can see some small fuzzy growth in some of my bald spots.. let's hope it gets back to normal soon!!
