My experiences with Alopecia
I'm a 24 yr old Indian guy with AA. It's been 2.5 months since I discovered and frankly it's been hell.
I'm a part-time writer (besides being a software engineer in Bangalore) and writing about my experience with alopecia has been almost therapeutic.

Yes Lois, i agree with you.. support from my family and my boyfriend has made things much easier for me.. I don't know how I'd have dealt with all this w'out them...

over time you will get used to i promise. youll see you can be better. if you'd ever like to be pen pals or something i'd be honored. i noticed youre a writer, i'm applying to colleges and i'd love someone to go over my admissions essay so if youre available that would be amazing ! have a nice day :)

That's the thing- i hate ppl making stupid presumptions about me..
I normally don;t let people's comments bother me, but this thing is totally new to me and am still struggling to cope with it

I find that writing in my journal, and blogging helps and is therapeutic as well. Sometimes when I feel like I need an emotional boost, I listen to music, because like writing is your therapy, music is mine:) Hope you feel better:)
