Today several people reported that, whenever they attempt to view certain pages on AlopeciaWorld.com, the page suddenly reloads and kicks them back to the homepage. In some cases, even the homepage itself automatically reloads several times.
I was able to duplicate this error in Windows XP and Vista using the following browsers: Internet Explorer 7 & 8, Mozilla Firefox 3.5.3, Google Chrome 3, Safari 4, and Opera 10. I was not able to duplicate the reloading error in Flock 2.5.
I was also able to determine that this reloading error is being caused by a script from the domain adsfac.us and that this script is being loaded in the background by the googlesyndication.com.
Therefore, while Google works to permanently resolve this error, please do the following to prevent the reloading error from occuring on this and many other sites that use certain Google content and services.
If your browser is Internet Explorer 7 or 8, open the browser and go to "Tools" > "Internet Options" > click the "Security" tab > click "Restricted Sites" > click the "Sites" button > add http://*.adsfac.us to the zone > click "Close" > click "OK." (If you're using an older version of Internet Explorer, the process should be pretty much the same. Note: you can also get to "Internet Options" through the control panel's Internet Explorer icon.)
If your browser is Mozilla Firefox, open the browser and download and install the NoScript add-on from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722
After restarting Firefox, do not allow scripts from www.adsfac.us or simply add the site to NoScript's list of blocked sites. For further assistance, watch the "Using NoScript with Firefox" video on YouTube:

Unfortunately, I have not found a way to prevent this error from occurring in Opera, Safari or Google Chrome. However, I will provide an update if I make progress with these browsers.
Thanks for your patience while a permanent, global solution to this problem is sought.
If you have questions or need further assistance, please reply to this blog. If you're an advanced user of Safari, Opera or Google Chrome, and you can assist us, please respond to this blog.
