So I don't really know what to write on here lol. Kinda joined this site to see how many Australians suffer from this disorder. I'm 24, male and have Alopecia Universalis. I've had it for roughly 2 years now. I suffer from a form of rumertoidal arthritis and the medication I take for that lowers my immune system. Myself and my arthritis dr believe that is the cause of my Alopecia. I've seen doctors, dermatologists etc about it but no positive outcomes from there visits.

Lately there has been positive changes though. I have faint white hair regrowth on my arms, legs, facial areas, pubic region etc so I can only hope things will return to how they once where in time! Is there anyone else out there that have had this sort of experience with Alopecia Universalis?

Hey!
Where abouts in Australia are you? I'm in Sydney.
Anyway... I was diagnosed with AA in June but within a few weeks every hair had gone so I gather I now have Alopecia Universalis. recently I've noticed patches of faint white hairs too, I'm hoping it means it will come back? what about on your head?

I have AU.Around 10 years ago I had those faint regrowth... Though I could never really consider them as such since they would fall out then come back later then grow then fall out again in an never ending cycle and it only happen in certain area and it never had a chance to change color sniif snifff..... But it all stopped since 5 years ago. Hair just doesn't like me anymore. LOL
