Hello all.... i must tell you all first that I am feeling much better, that bit of depression has past, and I am so thankful :)
Yesterday was a very special day for me and for all my friends with Alopecia!!! I went up to LA to meet Carl Carlyle, playwright, writer of "Bald: The Hairless Musical" He needed actors for his promotional video to show the investors, you know, the people who pay to put the play on, and I was lucky enough to be able to partake.... The score was so catchy!!! The music was really awesome, and I do believe many people would enjoy seeing this play.... It was a blessing to have a chance to work with him, and Kim Top, my best friend who shaved her head on National Bald Out day was able to act in the promotional video as well! :) So much fun.... Please keep your ears and eyes open for news on this, I will keep giving updates.
Thanks and Much Love everyone!
Lindsay

Wow, I'm really curious about what types of themes and tone are used in this. Is it a comedy? I have alopecia and I can't even imagine a whole musical about it, but I would be curious to see it. Can you post a clip??

You said it, Linda! As I wrote in my discussion "National Bald Out" on April 11, 2009:

"What if, for ONE day, all the bald women in this country (or whatever country you live in) came out in public with nothing on their heads? Imagine the effect! People wouldn't be able to assume that every bald woman they see has cancer. Bald women would become non-remarkable very quickly, just as bald men have. Women like me and other members of AW, who already go out in public bald, would instantly stop feeling so alone."
