Beautiful Bald Woman on Recent 30 Rock Episode
If you have the most recent 30 Rock episode on DVR or taped, (or can watch it online) take a look at the very last scene. There is a choir singing at a wedding, groovin' on the 30 Rock Theme Song. It's at the very end of the episode (I think it may be the season finale). I just watched it for the first time last night.
There is a beautiful, totally bald woman in the middle of the choir! A couple of shots show her very well. There is no dialog, no explanation, and she's just a background character, a member of the choir.
It was so refreshing and such a surprise to see a bald woman just THERE - no mention of her having cancer or being unusual in any way. Just looking great and rocking out! I had to watch it several times.

Yes, I just saw that it's on Hulu. I also just wrote to NBC commending them on showing this woman. I told them I think it's the first time a bald woman has been shown and NOT identified as a cancer patient! I encouraged them to put a bald woman in a minor or background role. Wouldn't that be awesome!
If anyone else wants to write, there is a contact email link on the NBC site (but it says "olympicfeedback", so I'm not sure it's accurate.) If anyone has a better contact address for NBC, please share it.

p.s. The scene with the bald woman in the choir is AFTER the final credits and company logos...you have to keep watching.

I just looked at it again, and I think you may be right, Lily. Darn! I thought that for once someone just had a bald woman "out there". I guess it's still too much to expect. ( ;-)

Bummer! I noticed that at times when I'm watching T.V. I am looking for that beautiful bald women. Wouldn't that be cool?

Someday it will happen. Bald men didn't used to be so "socially acceptable" or thought of as handsome and sexy.
Does anyone remember what a big deal it was when they made a bald actor (Patrick Stewart) the new captain of the Enterprise on Star Trek Next Generation? I remember seeing a promotional billboard with a photo of him that said "To baldly go...." Of course, it was the first Star Trek (original show) movie that featured a bald woman who was the personification of "sexy":
