I was wondering if anyone here developed alopecia after they got breast implants? I have had what my doctors says is alopecia working on three years now. I noticed that my hair loss started about 3 to 4 months after I got my breast implants. Then it stopped. It started back about 5 months after that then stopped again. This continued for about a year then it started to fall out more then not. I have read some things saying that breast implants can sometimes cause hairloss. Does anyone else believe that this may be true? Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this, Hve a wonderful day!! Erin

I haven't had implants either. But I have 2 auto immune diseases both triggered by pregnancy so i guess that when something different put into your body it can mess your system up.

I got breast implants 3.5 years ago. About a year ago I began to notice that my once very heavy eyebrows were melting away, one of them in a disturbing patchy fashion. Now my left eyebrow is almost gone. My scalp has been very itchy for about a year, and I assume that hair will go next. It took me a while to make the connection, but I have no autoimmune diseases in my family and I believe the hair loss is connected to the implants and that if I keep the implants, I will have other challenging autoimmune problems in the future. I'm going to get them taken out ASAP>
