I just started using castor oil on my scalp after reading great reviews on it in several different places. Though I'm not pinning all of my hopes on it, I want to see if it makes any different at all. So tonight is my first night using it. I rubbed it on my scalp and where my eyebrows are supposed to be and my eyelashes. Immediately I felt my scalp warming up, but a nice kinda warm (normally I feel pretty cold without my beanie or hat or scarf). Then I wrapped my scalp up with a cotton scarf. I plan on doing this 1-2 times a weeks for at least six weeks before making a judgement. I really hope it helps speed up the growth process of my fuzzies (peach fuzz hair). And if it doesn't help then nothing is lost, right?

I am going to be using this in combination with whatever my doctor has prescribed me and blackseed oil at least once a week. Let's see how it goes!

Wish me luck =]

If nothing else you will have a well moisturized head :-). I try to do a blend of jojoba oil with a few drops of essential oils that are supposed to reduce inflammation like tea tree, rosemary, and lavender. Smells nice at least. I've never heard of using castor oil, but I'm sure I have some somewhere, maybe I will toss some in the mix :-). Good luck!

Checking in. How is the castor oil application going? I saw from other posts that you have peach fuzz and even eyebrows and eyelashes coming back. That's fantastic! Do you attribute any of this to the castor oil? I have peach fuzz everywhere and am hesitant about trying anything, possibly preventing more hair growth.

I already had peach fuzz before the castor oil, but I am seeing a change in the texture and color of the hair because of it. My eyebrows were also returning on their own but with the castor oil I have definitely seen it speed up the growth. My eyelashes are kinda doing their own thing. If I lose a couple of hairs it more or less immediately starts growing back white and then soon changes color. The castor oil is making my eyelashes thicker.

The castor oil has given me peach fuzz where I didn't have any before on my scalp. I am doing this in addition to multivitamins and a mostly organic diet. The castor oil should be harmless because it is all natural and safe enough to even be ingested. I've talked to people who have seen results from it so I figured it was worth a shot. I've also recently started using egg yolk oil. It's an herbal remedy that has apparently been used forever in India to cure baldness.

The hair was white, now its a weird blondish color. The quality however is still very fine.
